***A GIFT TO MUSLIM YOUTH***

***A GIFT TO MUSLIM YOUTH***
Writer: ZAHID MAJEED
***  Book review by Musarat Sultana***

This book is a masterpiece from the pen of a young and prolific writer. Zahid has

addressed an important topic that provides the base for a cultured and civilized society.

Marriage is not only a bond between two individuals but a lifetime contract between

families who join to form a society of civilized people.

Zahid is of the view that marriage is a contract between the spouses & ,"  This contract

enables them to enjoy each other in accordance with the rulings of the legislator,

which is the Islamic Law."

He has beautifully described and elaborated all the terms like Nikah, Zawāj, and mizwäj

that are used in the Islamic Shariah. Since Islam is the religion of nature it provides

guidence in every aspect. Zahid has aptly utilized all the relevant information that

he gathered from the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the prophet (peace be upon him).

This book not only provides information about the relationship between the life partners

but also gives a detailed analysis of the the rights of the spouses over each other that

help to make a strong bond.

He has provided the reference of information and has made it easy for the readers to

explore the resources and resolve whatever the queries arise in their minds while

reading. The language is simple yet arresting. It keeps the reader spell bound in the

flow of thoughts and knowledge. This book is for the people of all age groups.

Those who intend to marry as well as those already connected must read

it for a better understanding of the relation.

Zahid has done justice to the topic by composing a well researched publication.

All the best to the enthusiastic & zealous soul.
